Mod Runway

Learn to make this faux cathedral block quilt in a 4 hour class.
The quilt can be made with yardage (6-8 different prints) or using a LAYER CAKE.
Students will be setting blocks on point and using an applique technique to add the curved solid pieces.
The size per the pattern is approximately 56" x 69", and the larger version is 72" x 86".
For class, you will need to bring:
10" squares cut from yardage or from a LAYER CAKE.
Small quilt = 18 squares
Large quilt = 32 squares
1/2 circle pieces as follows:
Small = 1-1/4 yds fabric + 2-1/4 yds lightweight fusible interfacing or Shape-Flex Lite (SF568)
Large = 2-1/4 yds fabric + 4-1/4 yds lightweight fusible interface or Shape-Flex Lite (SF568)
Setting Triangles/Corners - 1 yd (both sizes)
Printed Pattern (free from Riley Blake Designs website)
I will provide a plastic template for the curved pieces for tracing/cutting.
