Session 2: Sew star blocks together
Session 3: Sew on borders
FABRIC REQUIREMENTS
Color 1 (Dark or Primary color): 4 yds (includes borders and binding)
Color 2 (Light or Secondary color): 3.25 yds (includes borders)
Background: 2.25 yds
Things to bring to class:
1. Fabric - minimal precutting is required for sessions 1 & 3.
2. Machine with 1/4" foot
3. Disappearing pen/pencil that will be visible on your fabrics
4. 18x24 mat, rotary cutter, and 8.5" x 18.5" ruler or 6.5" x 18.5" ruler
5. Strip Tube Ruler ( or Strip Tube Ruler Jr) for trimming HST's to 5"
6. Basic sewing supplies: seam ripper, straight pins, scissors, etc
7. Travel iron and pressing mat recommended. (We do have irons also)
