Jelly Roll Race - Borders Workshop (Pt II)

This is a follow up session to the Jelly Roll Race Quilt workshop. Learn to add borders to your Jelly Roll Race Quilt. The added bonus is that this technique for adding borders can be applied to any quilt you make, no matter the size or design.
Things to bring to the workshop:
1. Your Jelly Roll Race quilt center, with all strips sewn and all seam pressed.
2. Border Fabric(s)
*I usually do 1 border that is cut 8" wide. For that I use about 2 yards of fabric. If I decide to do a small inner border in a contrasting color and then an outer border, then I use 3/4 yd for the inner border, and 1.75 yds for outer border (using 7" strips)*
3. 50 wt cotton thread
4. 18x24 cutting mat, rotary cutter, Stripology or 6.5x24.5 ruler (or 8.5x18.5 ruler)
5. Best Press
