Beginning Quiltmaking

Student will make a single patch fully bound quilt with outside border and machine quilting over 3 class sessions.
All sessions are required to completely finish the class.  No make ups are scheduled.
Sewing homework will be assigned at the end of the first 2 sessions to make sure student is prepared to add binding at the start of the last session. 

Book ($21.98 value) that includes all directions and extra quilt patterns is included in the $75 class fee.

Fabric & Supplies are extra.

Student can bring personal machine or use classroom machine.

Skill Level: Beginner
Skill Details: Student needs a familiarity with the sewing machine and experience sewing straight seams.
Materials Included: Sewing Machine & Book
Requirements: Fabric for patchwork, borders, binding, backing, and low loft batting. Rotary cutter, mat, 6.5 x 24 ruler. cotton thread for piecing/binding. general sewing supplies: scissors, seam ripper, etc... 15% discount for students buying fabric/supplies for class. *****EMAIL will be sent after registration with fabric/materials list.*****
